MicrocapReport.com is owned by APL Microcap Research LLC. Adam P. Lowensteiner is managing director of APL Microcap Research LLC. Adam has a passion for smaller publicly traded stocks, not just for their upside potential, but because they are businesses you can easily get your arms around. He began to take interest in the stock market at a young age, but really found microcaps during his college days. In-between classes Adam would check-up on the market’s activity and use that time to speak with CEOs and CFOs. During his college tenure, Adam was appointed to launch an investment club. Dubbed the Max Investment Club, Adam co-managed the club to a 130% return in its first year of operation. The fund returned 30% in its second year. After that, Adam was appointed to co-manage an endowment during his senior year. Adam began his career at the Individual Investor Group, a firm run by Jono Steinberg, where smallcaps were heralded as the place to invest for maximum returns. It was at Individual Investor where Adam sharpened his researching skills.

After leaving Individual Investor, Adam worked at a sell-side boutique, which also focused on smallcap stocks. Since then, Adam created his own proprietary stock screen that is run on a daily basis. Once the initial screen is run, Adam digs a little deeper looking into what the company does and what its capital structure looks like. Most of these stocks have easily outperformed the bear market over the last few years. Given the entrepreneurial spirit the USA has to offer, Adam felt compelled to share his stock ideas with microcap investors who share the same views. Adam currently works for an Investor Relations firm which represents several micro and smallcap companies. He resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife and three daughters.
